Educational Intent:

At Glen Waverley Primary School all students participate in our Languages Program (Mandarin) as part of our mainstream Curriculum.

The after school program has been developed to support students from Years 1 and 6 who show a particular interest in developing their individual skills further. It provides students with opportunities to foster a love of languages while building self-confidence and interpersonal skills.

The lessons are held every Wednesday from 3:30 to 4:15pm in the Languages Learning Space (Early Learning Centre).

Age Group:

Students in Years 1 and 6 are able to participate in After School Mandarin Classes.

Cost:

$50 per term

Selection Criteria:

Nil – all Years 1 to 6 students may choose to enrol in this program.
