On Wednesday 10th of June, Glen Waverley Primary School came alive with colour, creativity and plenty of fun as students celebrated Funky Feet Day! From mismatched shoes and fluffy slippers to bright, quirky socks, students and staff embraced the spirit of the day with enthusiasm.

On Monday 1st June, our Year 3 students attended an excursion to Melbourne Zoo as part of their Inquiry unit, which focused on how living things are dependent on each other.

On Wednesday 20th May, our school came together for a fun-filled Pyjama Day to raise money for the wonderful HeartKids. Students and teachers swapped their uniforms for their comfiest pyjamas, bringing plenty of colour, smiles, and excitement to the day.

On Wednesday 1st April 2026, GWPS held a Coin Race to support the Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal.

In Week 9 of Term 1, from 25th to the 27th March, our Year 5 students had an incredible time at Beechworth Camp. This experience provided a fantastic opportunity to explore Australian history, develop social and emotional skills, and strengthen friendships.
