On Tuesday, September 16th, we hosted our inaugural Prep Transition Session. Our future 2026 Prep students had a wonderful chance to immerse themselves in our welcoming Prep Classroom environments.
On Tuesday the 2nd of September, 111 students represented GWPS with pride and determination at the Waverley Central District Athletics Carnival. It was an incredible day, with our school placing second overall – a fantastic achievement!
On Wednesday, the 20th of August, Glen Waverley Primary School was buzzing with excitement as students celebrated Funky Feet Day!
On Tuesday the 19th of August, our Level 5 cohort had the pleasure of meeting and being educated by our local Federal MP, Dr Carina Garland, on the inner workings of the Federal Government!
What an unforgettable night. The Junior “Cinematic Stories in Motion” show along with the Senior “Musical Hall of Fame Through History” show absolutely lit up the stage, showcasing the talent, confidence and teamwork embodied in all our wonderful performers.
On Wednesday the 30th of July, Glen Waverley Primary School was buzzing with excitement as students celebrated Future Career Day! They dressed as doctors, astronauts, chefs, teachers, engineers, and so much more. Our learners proudly showed off their dreams for the future and what they aspire to be!
On Friday the 25th of July, our Year 4-6 cohort attended our annual GWPS Athletics Carnival at Bill Sewart Athletics Track. It was a huge success!
Term 3 was off to a busy start for our Year 6 student leaders who engaged in their second leadership day of the year yesterday. This time our cohort was hosted by Glendal Primary School, with Mount View Primary School and Glen Waverley Secondary College also attending.
Our Year 6 learners experienced a fabulous morning of learning on Tuesday the 1st of July, taking part in an incursion run by Thermo Fisher. This incursion helped learners further their understanding of chemicals and their place in our lives.
