On Thursday 18th April, students from Years 4, 5 & 6 travelled by foot to Larpent Reserve for the GWPS Intra-house Cross Country. While it was a chilly start to the morning, the weather was kind to us and provided perfect running conditions.
Congratulations to our 2024 Term One Principal Learning Award recipients who were presented with their award certificate at a special end of term whole school assembly on Thursday 28th March.

On Friday 8th March, GWPS hosted a special lunch for all staff to celebrate International Women’s Day. This year’s campaign theme was #InspireInclusion!
On Tuesday 5th of March, nine of our wonderful year five and six students travelled to Presbyterian Ladies College in Burwood to compete in the Waverley District Tennis competition.
As we approach the completion of a successful five-year contract with our current school uniform supplier, the Glen Waverley Primary School Council is preparing to initiate an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the continued supply of uniform for our school community.
On February 13th, our school had the privilege of hosting Martin Heppell from The Resilience Project for an inspiring resilience presentation. This event united Year 5 and 6 students from GWPS, Waverley Meadows, Camelot Rise, St Justin’s, and St John Vianneys Primary Schools.
On Friday 23rd February we held our Prep Picnic which was a resounding success! The preps ate their first lunch at school with their families and shared their learning whilst we developed a community spirit.
